Graham Scott

Graham Scott is a retired engineer born and raised in Sydney, Australia.  While in Australia, he traveled throughout Australia, New Guinea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand.  After moving to the United States, Graham worked with construction equipment and marine propulsion.  The marine work took him to Washington, British Columbia, Alaska, Southern Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Australasia.  His journeys exposed him to food production in various geographic and climate regions.

Since retiring, his passion has been the mitigation of human-exacerbated climate change, sustainable farming, clean water, and soil regeneration for agriculture.  His engineering experience motivates him to explore innovative ways and appropriate technologies to repurpose what’s available to create what you need.

In order to continue learning and share what he has learned, Graham is involved with SWFL RESET CENTER as well as other related nonprofits where he can satisfy these new passions.  These activities include STEM for high school students, community gardens and farms, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, solar energy, and use of Florida native plants.  Graham is still connected to the international maritime industry to stay up to date on renewable energy and technologies for the reduction of carbon and methane emissions.  His goal is to bring sustainability innovations and ideas from around the world to Southwest Florida.

Graham looks forward to his involvement with RESET as a board member and treasurer.
