“Creating Rituals and Ceremonies with All of Creation”
with Sister Robin Merrill
EXPLORE the CELEBRATION of CREATION with Sister Robin Merrill in this special Zoom. Robin is an Artist and spent 15 years in the Philippines as a Christian missionary doing media documentaries among the poor and creating economic development projects. She and her husband run a nonprofit cultural organization. Sister Robin has taken vows as a Protestant in two different religious orders, one is for Episcopal women. Robin and her family have lived in South Florida for 22 years since leaving the Philippines for health reasons. Sister Robin has worked with Rev. Houston Cypress and Love the Everglades Movement since its inception over a decade ago. Together with Houston, she has felt the freedom to invent and create new and meaningful rituals and ceremonies that speak across cultural and religious barriers. In this talk, she will show and explain some of these personal rituals she has created. We hope that the talk will spur your own spiritual creativity in the universe.
