Tackling Climate Change Inaction

Dave Finnigan wants to know: After 27 UN COPs (Congress of Parties) met, why have we still not solved the problem of climate change?

Finnigan contends this is because "trickle down" has never been the way cultures change unless there is also a "bubble up" component to the movement.

Enter the Green Actioneers School Program., a K-8 school program Finnigan designed that helps kids and their families “Go Green” without being divisive. Finnigan created the Green Actioneers program as a system for helping families and schools to focus on actions they can take to reduce their carbon/water footprints whether they believe that the climate is changing or that people are responsible, or not.

Simply put, Finnigan’s program aims to harness the energy of kids and their parents to build a worldwide movement for a clean and green future.

A primary tool is his 246-page Green Actioneers Family Action Guide, and resulting school program, which focuses on steps every family can take to Go Green, and save money in the process.  It’s a win-win.

We just focus on solutions.
— Dave Finnigan

The book never mentions global warming, climate change, or sea level rise, because it doesn’t need to.  “We just focus on solutions and over 100 Actions - ways families can save energy and water and money, help the whole community “go green,” and create a clean and green future for their kids,” Finnigan explains.

Dave Finnigan will be sharing more about the success of his program in an upcoming SWFL RESET Conversation, Tuesday, July 11th, at 6 PM ET. The presentation is free to the public. Register to attend here.
